Day 2 started with some bad news. Mart had injured his ankle the day before, and could not run. However, some quick thinking, and a medical clearance meant he switched to biking from Ijmuiden, to Leiden.
In Noordwijk, the incredible doctors, nurses, researchers and their families from the LUMC joined the run and cheered Mart over the finish line.
